I skipped the olives, cause, ew. I also skipped the raisins, because those aren't a huge hit around here.
So…well, it was ok. I'm glad I skipped the raisins, because even with cutting back a bit on the dates, this was a SWEET salad. I think it also would have been better had I just used raw broccoli not steamed, and let it marinade in the dressing longer.
My kids were "meh" about it, but the hubby and I thought it was ok, but it probably won't go into the summer rotation.
